On Thursday, June 8, The Honourable David Pratt had the honour of providing a briefing on civil-military relations to a delegation from Myanmar led by Nobel Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi who was in Ottawa to meet with the Governor General and the Prime Minister.
The delegation included government ministers, senior military officers and leaders of the ethnic groups.

The Government of Canada entrusted Heddle with the recent repairs and upgrades to the historic HMCS Haida – the world’s last surviving World War II vintage Tribal Class destroyer.

The Honourable David Pratt attended the NATO Association Gala Dinner at the Westin Hotel Harbour Castle in Toronto honouring former Prime Minister the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney. At the invitation of retired Senator Hugh Segal, and on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Association, Mr. Pratt delivered a “thank you” speech to Mr. Mulroney and presented him with a plaque which awarded him a Lifetime Fellowship in the NATO Association.
