Robert Fowler is an Associate and Senior Counsel with David Pratt & Associates, a government relations and strategic consultancy firm located in Ottawa, Canada.
Robert has 38 years of experience in public service. He was Deputy Minister of National Defence from 1989-95 and Canada’s longest serving U.N. Ambassador from 1995-2000. Robert served as a foreign policy advisor to Prime Ministers Trudeau, Turner and Mulroney and was the personal representative for Africa of Prime Ministers Chretien, Martin and, briefly, Harper.
In 2008, he also served as a Special Envoy for U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
